Franchise..bukan kata yang asing lagi di telinga kita. apalagi setelah kita lihat akhir-akhir ini bisnis franchise mulai dari yang murah sampai yang mahal, semua ada. Icha sendiri ga sebegitu hebatnya tahu tentang franchise, cuman waktu Icha geledah-geledah rak buku :P Icha menemukan satu buku tentang itu dan Icha mo mendiskusikan dengan teman-teman semua.

Akhir tahun 2004 lalu tercatat ada 140 bisnis franchise lokal dan 240 bisnis franchise asing di Asia. Banyak Franchise yang muncul kemudian tenggelam (atau bangkrut) namun banyak juga yang berhasil. Salah satu contoh simplenya yang di dekat rumah Icha nih, Alfamart dan Kebab Turki.

Sebenarnya apa sih Franchise atau pewaralabaan itu? nih satu info yang Icha dapatkan dari buku.

Pewaralabaan adalah suatu pengaturan di mana satu pihak yang telah mengembangkan suatu cara (system) menjalankan dan mengelola suatu usaha dengan sukses mengijinkan pihak lain hak untuk mengoperasikan format bisnis di bawah suatu merk dagang atau nama. Pengaturan bisnis ini merupakan suatu perjanjian formal dan legal yang mengikat kedua belah pihak.

Nah, sebenarnya teman-teman, franchise itu tidak bisa dibuat dengan sembarangan, tetapi memiliki kriteria-kriteria tertentu, seperti:
- Sudah terbukti berhasil
- Mempunyai keunikan (keunggulan)
- Telah distandarisasi
- Menguntungkan (profitable)
- Dapat diajarkan dan ditransfer
- Mempunyai consumerbase yang luas
- Perhitungan R.o.i. masih memadai

Sebelum lanjut ke mana-mana, nih Icha kasi rangkuman berbagai jaringan bidang peluang bisnis franchise Indonesia-Asing dan indonesia-lokal yang ada (tapi belum termasuk yang baru-baru, mungkin teman-teman yang tahu bisa menambahkan):
- Otomotif
- bantuan dan jasa bisnis
- produk dan jasa konstruksi, perawatan dan perbaikan rumah, furniture
- Rekreasi, hiburan, hotel
- fastfood restaurant and takeaways
- Stand makanan dan minuman (food stand, donut/ cake/ bread)
- Retail/ stores/ industri
- Laundry, Dry cleaning and Cleaning services
- Soft drink
- Repair/ photo/ photography
- beauty and hair salon/ sport/ body care/fitness center
- Anti Russ
- Jasa Direct mail, promosi, katalog dan multimedia
- kartu kredit

ummm.. biar ga bosen, teman-teman tambahin dulu aja deh :P wakakkak.....

Baru tau ada franchise kartu kredit. Ada contoh merknya?

Tadi pulang dari kantor, di mobil gw denger pasFM yang lagi membahas kompetisi bisnis AlfaMart dan Indomaret. Gw cuma sempet denger yang AlfaMart yang ngomong. Gile juga dia! rata-rata 1 hari bisa buka 2 toko baru. Yang menarik dari sistem franchise Alfamart adalah mereka sendiri memodifikasi sistem franchise dan membaginya menjadi 3 kategori:

a) Franchise biasa : punya lahan strategis + duit sekitar Rp 500jt-an [tergantung luas lahan]
b) Semi Franchise : punya lahan strategis + duit sedikit [Rp 10-50jt]
c) Mitra Usaha [ga yakin, lupa namanya] : punya lahan strategis [aja]

Tentu ada hak dan kewajiban yang berbeda antara poin a, b, dan c. Tapi poin c bener2 bisa jadi solusi yang menurut gw cukup kreatif buat orang yang punya lahan tapi ga punya duit.

dan juga baru mau nanya, kayak apa jadinya franchise kartu kredit?

icha tau merk-nya apa, dan gimana cara apply? ada webnya maybe?
